Inako Series

Initially designed and produced for Native & Co Store, Inako quickly developed into a full furniture series for client use.

Featuring an all-solid maple construction, Inako’s design embodies slim lines with a subtle timber figure, reminiscent of Japanese rice fields from which it is named after.

Now produced to order in Bristol, UK.

Mu Series

A collection of wooden serving boards meticulously produced in-house from hand-picked cedar logs. Featuring six designs, Mu is intended for both chopping and serving. With its natural water-resistant and anti-bacterial properties, Mu’s cedar was chosen for use in the kitchen and at the dining table.

Using an alternative cutting method, Mu is produced from boards of greater stability and strength, with uniquely mild and linear wood grain. Né studio undertook the challenging task of processing the raw cedar in-house to be involved in every step of Mu’s production.

Wu: Five Oolong Teas

A tea experience developed to celebrate Taiwanese tea and tea culture. Wu communicated a narrative of ‘伍 -five’ through a variety of tea brewing techniques and tea culinary-inspired dishes.

With a menu consisting of only five ‘ingredients’ — five oolong teas, Wu was performed in individual sessions at a tea bar for only five guests at a time, exploring both traditional and conceptual ways of consuming and appreciating tea.

Requiring extensive research, training and tea-food development, Wu’s design approach was tailored to the overarching theme, informing the colour palettes, materials, forms and finishes. From the interior design to the tea performance, all tasks were delivered in-house.
